About Dr.Nishimura

Profile

Cosmetic Dentist Russell D. Nishimura, DDS, Westlake Village CA, practices a full scope of general and cosmetic dentistry with expertise ranging from porcelain veneers to dental implants, crowns and bridges. Dr. Nishimura can now correct a wide variety of so-called permanent cosmetic dental problems, and can literally redesign your smile.

Educational and Professional Background

Dr. Nishimura received his B.S. in Microbiology and D.D.S from UCLA.

He then completed three post-graduate programs at the UCLA School of Dentistry receiving certificates in Hospital Dentistry, in the specialty of Prosthodontics, and in the subspecialty of Maxillofacial Prosthetics.

Dr. Nishimura then became a full-time faculty member at the UCLA School of Dentistry. His past positions at the School include the Executive Vice-Chairman of the Division of Advanced Prosthodontics, Biomaterials and Hospital Dentistry, Director of the Maxillofacial Prosthetic and Implant Laboratory, Co-Director of the Maxillofacial Prosthetic Program and Director of the Bone-Implant Interface Laboratory.
